The unfermented teas used in this blend originate from China. Picked from the same kind of tea bushes as black teas, they only differ in one small but important detail. Whilst black tea is laid out to ferment after breaking the surface of the leaves, green teas are immediately dried over open fires to avoid fermentation. Thus more vitamins and minerals are retained than in black tea.
