Pu Erh
Smooth earthy tea flavour through special fermentation

This "red tea" grows in the Pu'er county in the province of Yunnan in southern China. During processing it runs through a special fermentation phase and is then stored for at least 1-4 years to develop the typical earthy flavour and health promoting ingredients. In China, Pu Erh is considered to be midicinal and drunk after meals to improve digestion.

Pu Erh tea can be stored for up to 50 years in an air- tight container which will improve its character and benefits.

On a scale of 1-10 with one being the finest leaves, our Pu Erh tea is a number 4 quality.
